On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, fifty-three students, who were nominated by their teachers for demonstrating accountability, integrity & respect (A.I.R.), along with their chaperones Mrs. Amidei, Mrs. Martin, and Mrs. Castro arrived at Desert Ridge Academy between 5:30- 5:50 a.m. and departed promptly for California Adventure Park at 6:00 a.m. The trip only cost $80.00 for the ticket to the park and transportation.
Students said that the bus ride there and back was chaotic and loud, but exciting. As the day went on the more fun the day was. Many agreed that the Incredacoster was their favorite ride.
“It was a day,” said Emma Castro.
Diamondbacks headed for the bus at 6:00 p.m. when the park closed. At 9:00 the bus arrived back at Desert Ridge Academy. As Julissa Cornejo said, “California Adventure was fun!”
